The S750 offers seven megapixels, while the S780 boosts this just slightly to eight megapixels. As compared to the S730 the new cameras are a little smaller, most likely due to the use of a proprietary Lithium-ion battery rather than the standard AAs of the S730. The Sony S750 / S780 also have a slightly larger and higher resolution LCD display
