Nikon Coolpix S560

The compact Nikon Coolpix S560 digital camera offers 10 megapixel resolution, ISO sensitivities as high as 3200, and a Nikkor-branded 5x optical zoom lens yielding a 31.8 - 174mm equivalent focal range. In Auto ISO mode, the Nikon S560 will select an ISO sensitivity as appropriate between ISO64 and 800. The slim Coolpix S560 has a 2.7-inch LCD with anti-reflective coating, and updated icons for easier menu navigation.

Sensor shift-type Vibration Reduction is also featured, to reduce camera shake in low-light conditions. AScene Auto Selector function allows the Nikon S560 to automatically select the correct scene mode to use, be it Close-up, Portrait, Landscape, Backlight, Night Portrait or Night Landscape modes. There is also a Smile Mode, intended to detect when a Portrait shot subject smiles and immediately release the shutter automatically. The Coolpix S560's Blink Warning in Portrait Mode is another useful feature, detecting when a subject blinks, then allowing the photographer to see a magnified version of the photo to confirm the blink, and retake the photo if desired.
